Bondholders urged to support new community lottery

Community Action Derby has called on fellow Bondholders to donate prizes for a new fundraising initiative designed to support local good causes.

The Derby Community Lottery, which will launch later this month, will offer players to chance to win prizes while helping to support worthy causes.

With a weekly jackpot of £25,000, plus additional prizes of £2,000, £250, £25 and special Super Draw prizes, participants can support their community and potentially walk away with incredible winnings.

In preparation for the launch, Community Action Derby is calling on community-minded businesses and organisations to donate prizes for the Super Draw.

In a statement, Community Action Derby, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to gain visibility while helping to raise vital funds for Derby-based causes.

“Donations of all kinds are welcome, from afternoon tea for two, to a spa day experience, or even a luxury holiday.”

Following the launch, players will be able to purchase tickets online for just £1 per week. Of each ticket sold, 50% will go directly to the player’s chosen cause, with an additional 10% contributing to a central fund that supports even more local charities and initiatives.
