Bondholders among dealmaker nominees

Several Marketing Derby Bondholders have been shortlisted for awards, which recognise firms involved in key deals across the Midlands.

PwC, Freeths, HSBC UK, Mazars, Dains and NatWest are among the nominees for Insider’s Midlands Dealmaker Awards.

PwC is shortlisted for Turnaround Team of the Year, Specialist Services Team of the Year and Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year.

Freeths is a finalist in the Corporate Law Firm of the Year category, with the firm’s Lee Clifford up for Corporate Lawyer of The Year.

Both PwC and Freeths are part of teams up with for awards recognising the best deals, as are Mazars, Dains and NatWest.

Meanwhile, HSBC UK is shortlisted for Bank of the Year.

Insider editor Kurt Jacobs said: “This is a landmark year for dealmakers.

“We have had a record number of nominations – nearly 1,000 individual suggestions from leaders in the deal-making community as to who should win.

“That’s translated into more than 150 businesses, deals and individuals being shortlisted.”

The winners will be named at a ceremony in Birmingham on 22 September.
