Architects up for national awards brace

Architecture practice Morrison Design is celebrating after being announced as finalists in two sets of national awards.

The firm is shortlisted in the Retail and Leisure Architect of the Year category of the Building Design, Architect of the Year Awards.

The practice is also a finalist in the Architectural Practice of the Year category of the National Building and Construction Awards.

Peter Newman-Earp, director at Morrison Design, said: “We’re honoured to be shortlisted for both of these awards.

“We’re a small practice but we create and deliver some pretty mind-blowing spaces.

“Our team are an incredibly talented bunch of people – we couldn’t do it without the support of each and every one of them.”

The Building Design, Architect of the Year Awards winners will be announced on 17 October and the National Building and Construction Awards winners will be crowned on 16 November.
