Architects’ team completes gruelling charity trek
A team from Morrison Design has completed a gruelling trek in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The team of nine from the Derby-based architects practice recently completed Trek26 in aid of its chosen charity for the year.
Four of the team took on the 13-mile route, while the other five took on the 26-mile hike across the Peak District. Together they walked 182 miles for their charity.
Liam Feldman, an architectural technologist at Morrison Design, said: “The trek was a tough one, but we were all determined to cross the finish line and raise as much money as we could for such an important charity.
“There was a particularly hilly section after the lunch stop, which seemed never-ending at the time and the last few miles were hard work.
“We had a great team to walk with and we kept each other’s spirits up when we were all exhausted.”
The Alzheimer’s Society provides vital care and support to people with dementia and their families. It also funds ground-breaking research and campaign for change.
