Architects shortlisted for awards brace

Morrison Design is celebrating after being shortlisted for awards recognising the best of the region’s construction sector.

The firm is a finalist in the People & Culture and the SME of the Year categories at this year’s Constructing Excellence Awards East Midlands.

It the second year in a row the firm has been shortlisted in these categories.

Last year, at the same awards, Morrison won the People Development category.

In a statement, the firm said: “Our team has grown significantly in the last year and we’re pretty chuffed to have maintained our low employee turnover rate.

“We know that our people are our most important asset and we’re so proud of our team in everything that they achieve – we couldn’t do it without them.

“We have a long history of inspiring and nurturing local talent and as a result of our business growth we’ve significantly invested in our people strategy over the past couple of years as we continue to evolve our practice.”

The winners will be revealed at an awards dinner in Leicester on 27 June.
