Matthew Montague Architects has successfully achieved planning permission for new apartments in Derby.

The scheme, which will be situated near the Jonty Farmer pub and Brook Medical Centre, in Kedleston Road, will consist of 14 apartments set across four storeys.

In line with city planning regulations, the building will be set back from the road to avoid overlooking nearby properties, ensuring a harmonious blend with the surrounding environment.

Matthew Montague, lead architect at Matthew Montage Architects, said: “We are thrilled to have received planning permission for this development.

“Our team has worked diligently to create a design that not only enhances the local area but also provides high-quality living spaces for future residents.”

The approval from Derby City Council marks a significant milestone for the project, with planning documents highlighting the thoughtfully designed aspects of the building, including a soft landscaped buffer zone between the building and the road to minimise impact on adjacent properties.
