Architects embark on prestigious school project

Matthew Montague Architects has embarked on a project to design state-of-the-art sports facilities at a renowned private school.

The firm is working on the project in partnership with Stowe School, which is set within one of the UK’s most historically rich landscapes, in Buckinghamshire.

Stowe, a Grade I listed site and celebrated ‘Capability Brown’ landscape, stands as one of Britain’s most significant estates, presenting a unique design challenge for Matthew Montague Architects, which has previously delivered sports facilities for Repton School.

The Stowe project aims to introduce modern sports facilities, including pitches, changing rooms, spectator seating, and floodlights, all while preserving the character and integrity of the iconic site.
