Architects deliver new reception for top London hotel

Architects Morrison Design has completed the new front of house space at a five-star central London hotel.

The Derby firm carried out the work for The Trafalgar St. James London, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Morrison Design was appointed architects, project managers, principal designer and contract administrator for the project.

The reception space represents the first phase of the project, which also incorporates the creation of new guest rooms.

Peter Newman-Earp, director at Morrison Design, said: “We’re delighted with the finished space – the opulent interiors give a sense of luxury as soon as guests step through the door, setting the tone for the rest of their stay.

“We’re honoured to be working with Crimson Hotels and Hilton again on the Curio Collection brand – it’s always a pleasure to work in such unique, luxury buildings. We’re looking forward to the rest of the areas reaching completion.”
