Double hire for Marketing Derby’s investment team
Two new faces have joined Marketing Derby to help raise the profile of the city and county to investors.
Christopher Tebbs and Adam Rodgers are the latest additions to the inward investment agency’s team, which works to attract investment to both Derby and Derbyshire.
Both have joined Marketing Derby as inward investment executives and will play a direct role in helping attract new investment into both the city and county.
They will support investors and organisations looking to relocate to the region, while also helping local businesses as part of Marketing Derby's wider work.
Christopher is a University of Derby graduate, who, in 2019, undertook an internship with Marketing Derby, working as a digital marketing intern.
He said: “I am so excited to be part of the Marketing Derby team once more.
“After completing my internship in 2019, I knew that Marketing Derby was somewhere that I wanted to come back to.
“The work that Marketing Derby does in putting Derby and Derbyshire on the map is truly second-to-none.
“As a University of Derby graduate and strong advocate for the city, the opportunity to be part of Marketing Derby and to continue the incredible work that the company does is amazing.”
Adam studied at Derby College Group before going on to spend many years working in the travel industry.
Speaking about his new role, he said: “I have been following Marketing Derby since its inception and am extremely proud to be working for this Queen's Award-winning company, showcasing what Derby and Derbyshire has to offer.
“I bring a ‘customer first’ attitude, positivity and a willingness to provide a great service to both potential investors and existing Bondholders.
“Marketing Derby provides a pivotal service in order to promote Derby and Derbyshire as a place to invest, as well as providing essential services to existing Bondholders.”
