CALMFest event for constabulary
Calm in a Box has announced that it will be holding a special event this month for the criminal justice team at Derbyshire Constabulary.
Called CALMfest, the event is designed to help teams of all shapes and sizes focus on their individual wellbeing, while still being connected through a wider team goal around creating a calmer, happier and healthier workplace.
Sarah Markham, founder and chief executive of Calm in a Box, said: “We have selected the experiences, activities or challenges, which will we feel will best motivate and inspire the team to take some time out for their wellbeing, try something new, reconnect with themselves and each other to unlock greater potential for peak performance during challenging times.”
Detective Superintendent Claire Hammond said: “We have been working in partnership with Calm in a Box for some time now and our CALM programme has been a brilliant way to engage people in creating a team where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.
“One of our key challenges is making enough time for breaks to recharge and rebalance.
“CALMfest has been great in supporting people to take some time for their wellbeing as individuals and as a team during such busy times.”
