Business centre reaches full occupancy
A business centre in Derbyshire has reached full occupancy thanks to the latest deal completed by FHP Property Consultants.
It has secured the letting of Unit 5 at Amber Business Centre, at Riddings, near Alfreton, to Abby Logistics.
It means that all 400,000 sq ft at the centre, which is split across 60 units, is now occupied.
Amber Business Centre was purchased by Mileway, a pan-European logistics real estate company, around three years ago.
Since then, it has been working with FHP to not only reduce voids but increase rental values.
Darran Severn, from FHP, said: “There are not many multi let industrial estates in the region that contain over 60 units totalling some 400,000 sq ft and to achieve full occupancy here is fantastic.
“More pleasingly rental levels have significantly increased during that time and we have seen an increase of circa 10% over the last 12 months alone.
“Unit 5 had undergone an impressive refurbishment and was let within weeks of completion of the works.”
