Romey on cloud nine after Sky move

Sky Recruitment Solutions, along with its sister company, have announced their first joint hire after appointing Romey Lee as business development manager.

Romey joins the recruitment specialist from property group Staton Young.

She was based at Staton Young’s coworking and office space Cubo Derby. It was here she met Sky Recruitment Solutions’ managing director David Torrington at a networking meeting.

Romey said: “I already knew David and even brought Sky into the building at Cubo!

“My skills are established in business development, but it is an exciting new industry for me. The main things that drew me to these companies were the people and team ethos. Team spirit is key.”

David said: “In recent months we have experienced phenomenal growth in both of our businesses as companies look to expand and take on more people quickly.

“The appointment of Romey helps set our course for future expansion. She will help us identify the key areas to develop and having a fresh pair of eyes is invaluable to developing our key strategies for success.”
