The results are now in from a recent Marketing Derby survey, which asked Bondholders what services they would like to see offered in the future.

The survey was issued to the Bondholder network as the country emerged from lockdown.

During the pandemic, Marketing Derby adapted its services, including moving all of its in-person events online.

The survey asked what Bondholders wanted right now and what they would like going forward.

In terms of events, 32% of respondents said they would like to go back to in-person events.

However, 65% said they would prefer a hybrid model until the end of the year.

Bondholders also came back with some great suggestions on themes for future online events. Among them was a session on the skills revolution. This has now taken place and can be viewed here.

Another suggested an online event centred around resilience and returning to the office. This has also now taken place and can be viewed here.

Christmas normally sees 750 Bondholders enjoy a spectacular evening of celebration at the Roundhouse.

This year, our survey revealed that 63% would prefer a takeover of a bar or restaurant. We listened and your invitation to this year's Bondholder Christmas Party will be with you very soon.

55% of respondents said they would be keen and excited to attend Marketing Derby’s next London Embassy event, which is due to take place this autumn.

And 30% said they would be interested in hearing more about being a part of the Derby Economic Development Advisory Committee (DEDAC), which helps to influence the future direction of the city.

Finally, Marketing Derby welcomed the fact that 70% of respondents knew how to share their good news to other Bondholders via the e-shots, social media, Linkedin and advertising opportunities, such as e-shot banners and sponsorship.

Lindsey Hatfield, commercial development manager at Marketing Derby, said: “As we are emerging from the most challenging time some of us have ever faced, both personally and professionally, we thought the time was right to do a survey.

“We wanted to find out what was important to Bondholders right now and what activities they would benefit most from for the remainder of 2021 and into early 2022.

“The final feedback was excellent and we have taken all of the suggestions and implemented them.

“Marketing Derby would like to thank everyone who took the time to fill out the survey.”
