Tech firm doubles capacity at city centre offices
A technology company focused on the critical communication needs of NHS Trusts, has doubled its space at Cubo Derby, which is owned by Staton Young.
Earlier this year, Alertive initially took an eight-person private office at the former Post Office building, in Victoria Street.
In response to recent growth, it has now taken two new offices at Cubo, enabling it to take staff numbers up to 16.
Alertive’s products serve a vital role in the healthcare industry, facilitating more effective communication between hospital workers and providing them with real-time access to the information they need.
The need for this type of technology has become even more important during the last year with the challenges faced by hospital workers intensifying.
Eventually, Alertive is aiming to have a UK-wide presence – and see Cubo, which also has locations in Nottingham and Sheffield, as a key enabler.
Cubo provides private offices, co-working space and hot desks with breakout spaces, meeting rooms and barista coffee, all with 24/7 access and 24-hour security.
As well as Nottingham and Sheffield, Cubo is looking to add more locations in the future.
Matt Gauler, chief executive at Alertive, said: “Cubo is an amazing space that sparked my attention straight away with their approachability and community culture that I have not seen anywhere else in Derby.
“It gives us that supportive atmosphere through a co-working space built with businesses in mind.
“As an employer you want to provide the best space you can for your employees to make them feel safe, welcomed and excited to come into work – this is exactly what Cubo has provided for us.”
