LOBO helps US brewing giant reach new heights
Technology invented by LOBO Systems, which helps people work safely at height, is proving a big hit with a major US brewer.
Anheuser Busch, whose brands include Budweiser and Stella Artois, recently purchased a LOBO System for its utility department.
The LOBO System, invented by the Alfreton Road firm, is an advanced platform system that can be configured to meet almost any access application, allowing personnel to move it from one project to another.
The innovative work platform is put together without tools. It features unique, patented clamps, which help provide a safe and secure working facility up to a maximum height of 10 metres.
The system allows users to cut their scaffolding costs, due to reduced downtime while waiting for it to arrive, erected and less reliance on outside contractors.
According to Anheuser Busch, which is one of the largest brewers in America, the system is already helping the firm make big cost savings.
In a statement, Anheuser Busch said: “We have been extremely impressed with the flexibility, quality and versatility of LOBO.
“In a very short time, it has proven to be a perfect investment for the company.
“Most of our use for the system comes during our off-season period and our utility department saved a massive $10,000 throughout just one project. They have since used the system at least 15 times.”
Robert Bokros, managing director at LOBO Systems, said: “LOBO has revolutionised the way industry works safely at height on both sides of the Atlantic.
“Since the initial order, many Anheuser Busch breweries have purchased a LOBO System, along with training.”
