Global triathlon and cycling brand HUUB has started working with Olympic legend Jason Kenny to help develop new products.

The Full Street firm, which was recently awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation, has teamed up with the six-time Olympic gold medallist.

Dean Jackson, HUUB’s chief executive, said: “Jason has cemented his name into the British Olympic history books and is one of the most decorated Team GB cyclists.

“At HUUB, we love speed and when it comes to Jason Kenny – it doesn’t get any faster!”

Jason is the latest athlete to link up with HUUB to help it develop new innovations.

He began cycling by chance at the velodrome in Manchester and instantly fell in love with the sport. He was then quickly talent spotted for the London Olympics.

Jason will be joining the knowledge of Dan Bigham, Jacob Tipper and the Ribble Weldtite Road Team, along with expertise from HUUB’s exclusive partnership with Vorteq.

Jason said: “I’m really excited about the prospects with HUUB. As sprinters, everyone sees us going really fast – there is a massive aero-dynamic part of that and a massive technology part.

“But we also ride on the road and need a really good body of equipment, which HUUB offer right across the range.

“I’m looking forward to the partnership and working together to produce some really cool stuff, bringing aero and speed to all!”

Dean Jackson added: “We have a collective of incredible advisors at HUUB that we have named our ‘Fellowship of Speed’.

“Jason joins us at the early stages of our shift towards bringing our expertise in materials, aero and thermos-regulation gains into cycling.”
