Cricket club extends partnership with cinema brand

Derbyshire County Cricket Club has extended its partnership with a national cinema brand.

The club has announced it is to continue its long-standing relationship with its official partners Showcase Cinema de Lux.

The cinema brand is the shirt sponsor for Derbyshire’s Vitality Blast and Royal London Cup kits – and also sponsors the Showcase Cinema de Lux Family Stand at the club’s Incora County Ground.

The Showcase Cinema de Lux, at the Derbion shopping centre, recently reopened to customers following the easing of lockdown.

Commercial manager Jimmy Drew said: “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Showcase Cinema de Lux, who have long since been at the forefront of our limited overs cricket, through shirt sponsorship and matchday activations for our Vitality Blast audiences.

“Our white ball sides will proudly wear the Showcase logo across their shirts again this year and we’re looking forward to seeing our supporters back in the ground to cheer them on.”
