Chatsworth Fair offer for food and drink firms
Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire is offering food and drink businesses the opportunity to promote and sell their products at a major country fair taking place this summer.
Local artisans and producers are encouraged to apply for a place in the Visit Peak District & Derbyshire Marketplace, at the Chatsworth Country Fair.
The event, which takes place at Chatsworth House, part The Devonshire Group, from 3 to 5 September, is set to attract thousands of visitors.
The fair is widely regarded as one of England’s most spectacular annual outdoor events, celebrating traditional country pursuits together with showground entertainment, quality trade stands and fun for all the family.
The Visit Peak District & Derbyshire Marketplace celebrates the variety of quality products made in the area, ranging from fine food and drink to unique art and crafts.
The opportunity is open to small-to-medium-sized businesses and is part financially supported by Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) project.
Jo Dilley, managing director of Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire, said: “After an incredibly challenging year for so many artisans and producers, the Visit Peak District & Derbyshire Marketplace will offer a unique platform for small-to-medium-sized businesses to reach a potential audience of thousands of people from across the country.
“Thanks to our funding support, it’s a fantastic chance for businesses to get a taste of exhibiting at a large national event, with little risk. Good luck to everyone who applies!”
Applications close on Monday 14 June. Successful applicants will be notified the week commencing 21 June. Stalls provided to successful applicants will be subject to a charge of £100, plus VAT, per business.
