Speed networking help for school-leavers

Marketing Derby Bondholders are being urged to get involved in a project to help improve the networking skills of school-leavers.

The Early Talent Consultancy and Derby City Council is calling on businesses to help out at virtual Speed Networking sessions, which will take place in June.

It needs employers to take part in the sessions to help young people develop networking and communication skills.

The sessions will be carousel-style, held in small breakout rooms where employers will have the chance to meet Year 10 and 12 students from local schools.

The students will have prepared questions, so the employers’ role will be to answer their questions and provide advice based on their own experiences.

The sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams on 22 June, from 1pm to 3pm and 23 June, from 9.30am to 11.30am.

Any employer who would like to get involved should e-mail info@theearlytalentconsultancy.com.
