Sister company contract win for Poppy PR
Poppy PR has landed a deal to handle the communications work for the new sister company of Sky Recruitment Solutions.
The firm has been selected to handle the PR for Capella Professional, a Nottingham-based recruitment company recently founded by Derby-based Sky.
David Torrington, managing director of both Sky and Capella, said: “At the start of the first 2020 lockdown, I had decided to increase my marketing budget in a bid to get a steal on the rest of the recruitment market – and it worked.
“Back then, I was spending a lot of time on PR and social media and what Poppy PR did was enable me to concentrate on building the business, safe in the knowledge that that side of things was taken care of.
“We had never invested in PR before but it’s been a great move for us. Big clients have approached us on the back of seeing some really good coverage in the press.”
Poppy’s managing director Tina Clough said: “Sky Recruitment has been so easy to work with and I have a huge amount of respect for David and the way he runs his business.
“We’re so happy that he has endorsed Poppy PR’s work over the past year by choosing us to now work alongside Capella Professional.”
