Strong start leads to Champions recruitment drive
Brand agency Champions has reported a strong start to the year, which has led to a recruitment drive following an increase in demand for digital marketing and communications services.
Having seen an uplift in the requirement for increased digital lead generation, the firm has attracted an array of industries and service sectors keen to sign up for user-friendly websites and digital content.
The upturn has subsequently led to Champions launching a search for existing professionals with diverse skill sets, as well as the younger generation of under-25s who have lost out on a stable education during the Covid-19 crisis.
Managing director Matthew Hayes said: “We are excited to be able to support skilled professionals looking for work at this time.
“With the pandemic causing a decline across employment and education, as well as creating a more consumer-driven marketing environment, it is a crucial time for us to be able to offer employment in the local area.”
According to the firm, a £1 million investment in its digital hub built in 2019, has left it well placed to take advantage of the upturn.
Matthew said: “Brands are increasingly looking to understand and embrace digital services – and many have chosen to invest during this time.
“Having foreseen the need to bridge the gap that other agencies do not tend to offer, Champions delivers every facet of a campaign from brand strategy, digital, communications, creative, talent and events.
“As experts across these skillsets, we work with our clients to review and update their digital footprint, messages and channels.
“We pride ourselves on training and upskilling our professionals, to ensure that they are up to date with the very latest knowledge and techniques, ensuring our clients get the very best expert service.”
The firm is now looking for individuals across SEO, digital advertising, media, UX/UI design, web development and e-commerce.
There are opportunities spanning its influencer marketing, PR and communications and social media divisions.
Matthew said: “It is so important that we continue to add great talent to our Champions family, assisting the career progression of passionate individuals, providing them with an environment in which they can excel and learn a number of different skills, which is pivotal in today’s world.”
