Salloway helps Dutch packaging firm expand

Salloway Property Consultants has helped the UK arm of a Dutch packaging firm expand its Derby presence.

The firm has secured a deal which will see Audion Elektro lease a unit in Centurion Way.

Audion Elektro is part of Audion Elektro BV, which was established in Amsterdam in 1947 and has grown to become a leading name in the packaging industry, with a worldwide dealer network representing them in more than 65 countries.

The firm specialises in the manufacture and distribution of a range of packaging machines.

Hugo Beresford, of Salloway Property Consultants, who negotiated the deal on behalf of private landlord clients, said: “I was aware of Audion’s expansion plans and knew that they had been struggling to find a property which ticked all of their boxes.

“It was clear that Unit 4 was a near perfect match and so I got them around quickly and was able to agree terms within just a few days of the property hitting the market.

“The premises will provide Audion with new UK headquarters, which will incorporate offices, workshop accommodation and a new showroom to showcase their equipment.”
