Read Easy, a national charity that helps adults learn to read is set to launch a new group in Derby, which will be headed up by Sara Martin, who works at Sibbalds.

According to the charity, there are around 12,000 adults in Derby who cannot read or struggle with everyday reading.

Read Easy provides a confidential programme of free, one-to-one, volunteer-led adult reading coaching.

Sara is currently looking for local people who can support the development of the new group by volunteering as management team members.

Sara said: “From experience, we know that learning to read really does change lives and being part of that process is special.”
