New director at Invictus

Invictus Group has appointed a new sales director to help spearhead the firm’s post-lockdown expansion plans.

Neil Baumber has joined the company with the task of building a sales team and growing its customer-base across the East Midlands.

Derbyshire-based Invictus supplies internet-based telephone systems and IT support services to companies from across the spectrum, from start-ups to large organisations with dozens of sites across the country.

Following the end of a challenging 2020, Invictus is currently dealing with an influx of orders from companies looking to repurpose their telephone and IT systems in order to offer their employees safe, secure and reliable remote working.

Managing director Jonny McPhee said: “Neil has a wealth of experience in the telecoms business and his appointment is a significant stepping-stone towards us being able to achieve our ambitious plans for 2021.

“Remote working places a whole host of extra requirements on a company’s telecoms suppliers, which play into the hands of companies like us who offer a friendly and local service instead of the jargon and remoteness you get from other suppliers.”
