Elaine joins influential rail body

The chief executive of Rail Forum Midlands has been appointed to an influential leadership body for the UK rail supply chain.

Elaine Clark has joined the Rail Supply Group Council (RSG), which brings together senior industry leaders and government.

The RSG is responsible for delivering the Rail Sector Deal, which sets out how the industry and government will work together to transform the sector.

The deal focuses on a number of specific workstreams, including digitalisation, data, sustainable supply chain and growing exports.

Elaine said: “As an organisation, RFM has long supported the RSG and its work.

“It is great to be formally invited to join the council enabling us to enhance our contribution on behalf of our members.”
