Armsons lead on spa project
Work has started to create a new luxury boutique spa in a project co-led by Armsons.
The project management and construction cost consultant, along with YMD Boon, is heading up a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the facility at Breedon Priory Health Club, on the edge of the village of Wilson, between Melbourne and Ashby.
Once complete, the spa will feature treatment rooms, relaxation areas, pools, saunas, and steam rooms, along with a restaurant and a shop.
Sally Walters, director at Armsons, said: “We’re pleased to be working on this project with our colleagues at YMD Boon and the rest of the project team.
“The scheme reuses previously developed land though the demolition of a golf club house and erection of spa on the same footprint and will provide a real boost to leisure and health spa facilities in the area.”
Armsons has a proven track record in the sports and leisure sector and has completed many high-profile schemes across the region, including works for Derbyshire County Cricket Club and Repton School.
