Business hub welcomes security firm
A security firm has become the latest to take space at the Oberoi Business Hub.
Derby firm Monarch Security, whose clients range from Covid testing centres to the Saudi royal family, has moved to the Pride Park centre to pave the way for future expansion.
Monarch Security was set up last September by Farhaan Bhatti and Phil Wright who have more than 25 years’ combined experience in the industry.
Having initially run the business from home, the pair have taken serviced offices at Oberoi Business Hub, in St Christopher’s Way.
Kavita Oberoi OBE, who founded the business hub in 2012, said: “I am heartened by the number of enquiries we are getting from start-up and growing SMEs, which hopefully reflects the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit and growing optimism among the local business community – despite the pandemic.
“I am particularly delighted that Monarch Security has joined our community having co-owned a similar company with more than 700 staff in previous years.”
