'Good to Go' Ground
Home of Bondholder Derbyshire County Cricket Club, The Incora County Ground, has been recognised by Visit England as a ‘We’re Good To Go’ events venue.
Chosen as the venue for key international cricket training camps and an entire series behind closed doors, the Cricket Club has re-started its activity in a bio-secure environment.
It has now tailored its hospitality and events procedures and packages to create a modern, safe and versatile offering.
Helen Slater, Head of Hospitality and Events at Derbyshire County Cricket Club, said: “We have been hosting bio-secure international cricket at The Incora County Ground since July, building up to a Vitality IT20 series between England and West Indies this month, all of which will be televised across Sky Sports and the BBC.
“We had to learn and develop quickly, putting many measures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all players and venue staff. Our experienced team are well versed in delivering contactless service in a Covid-safe way. It has always been our priority to provide the utmost care for our guests and with today’s pandemic we want to offer peace of mind, therefore we will be transferring our learnings and practices to all our future events”
