Property Support
Marketing Derby has helped a letterbox gift company which set up during lockdown, move into its first commercial premises, enabling the business to grow.
Derby-based Colleague Box allows companies to send gifts and personal messages through the post to connect remote workers or as a welcome back gift for furloughed staff.
Marketing Derby supported Colleague Box by providing property services, including site searches, and arranging viewings with agents. The company secured a 3,000 sq ft unit close to Nottingham Road in Derby, which will enable them to continue their growth, both in terms of the order book and creating new jobs.
“Although setting up a business during the pandemic was a risky move, the response to Colleague Box has been amazing. We are delighted to be able to grow our business in Derby and Marketing Derby provided invaluable support in enabling us to do so, through advice about locations, property searches and site visits” said Adam Bamford, CEO for Colleague Box.
“We have outgrown our living room now and with an order received for 20,000 Halloween-themed boxes – which each contain a rather large pumpkin – the move to bigger premises is much-needed and most welcome. The warehouse has plenty of space for packing with big tables and work stations, while the office space will give us some welcome room for the administration side of the company.”
