Bondholder Matthew Montague Architects and Derby-based Just Living Interiors have unveiled plans that bring together interior design and architectural services.

In recent years, Matthew Montague Architects has completed a series of individual country homes around the region, with current plans including an ambitious country manor house in North Derbyshire, a new substantial countryside home looking out over the Staffordshire Hills, a state-of-the-art eco-home and an extensive renovation of a beautiful Edwardian Hall in a Derbyshire Conservation area.

Just Living Interiors was founded in 2014 by Kelly Barker and specialises in high-end interior design. Kelly is an Accredited member of The Society of British & International Design and will head up the interior design service for all clients following the merger.

“Having Kelly on board enhances our skill set and enables us to offer a more comprehensive service. I welcome her to the team and I’m delighted to have her on board” said Matthew Montague, managing director of Matthew Montague Architects.

The housing market is experiencing a mini boom and demand for interior design and architectural services has increased in this sector. The merger increases the portfolio of services offered by Matthew Montague Architects and gives clients the opportunity to integrate high-level interior design from the beginning of every project.

Kelly said “I am excited to be joining such an established and creative practice. They have a great portfolio. We are in discussions with several clients already and I can’t wait to get going.’

Kelly will be available to assist clients on a consultancy basis or a full design service from concept through to completion. Kelly’s style is classic contemporary; she has a wealth of experience with period properties, new builds and luxury interior refurbishments.
