New offer from UTC

Bondholder UTC Derby Pride Park has expanded its technical offer to include a brand-new Level 2 course starting in September 2020 for Year 12 students.

As part of one of the foremost University Technical Colleges (UTCs) Trusts in the country, The Sheffield UTC Academy Trust, and with exceptional relationships with top employers in Derby and the surrounding region, UTC Derby Pride Park aims to help the students to progress on to high quality Level 3 courses and apprenticeships – giving them a strong and stable footing for progressing into the career of their choice.

Students will work on three cross-curricular challenges during the year, integrating Life Sciences and Engineering in a practical and exciting manner, whilst gaining the technical skills needed for inspiring new jobs in careers related to Science, Engineering, Maths and Technology (STEM).

Level 2 Engineering or Life Sciences will be studied alongside maths and English with a mix of academic and practical activity, working on real-life projects in partnership with employers and Bondholder the University of Derby.
