The IoD has helped to secure vital support for business leaders during the Covid-19 pandemic, including financial assistance for wage bills and changes to insolvency rules. Through Policy Voice, the IoD was able to provide the Government with first-hand reports from members across the UK who are dealing with the fallout from the crisis.

Natalie said: “The Covid-19 pandemic has demonstrated why businesses, their directors and employees need strong representation in the corridors of power. We need to hear the experiences of East Midlands companies so that we can feed back their issues, challenges and successes to those who make decisions on our behalf.

“Whether you run a large business that trades internationally or a start-up that is beginning its business journey, the IoD is here to support you.”
