Bondholder to stage children awards
The prestigious National Children of Wales Awards will be staged by Bondholder Champions (UK) plc.
The awards are run by the Pembrokeshire-based Bluestone National Park Resort and its charitable arm, the Bluestone Foundation, which have asked Champions to come on board as event managers.
The aim is to raise £100,000 for charities in the country that are dedicated to helping children – the Teenage Cancer Trust, Dreams & Wishes and the NSPCC.
Celebrating the inspirational achievements of young people across Wales and shining a light on children who face huge challenges in their everyday lives, the event is to be hosted by TV presenter Carol Vorderman and Welsh rugby legend Ian Gough.
David Simms, the agency’s Group Sales Director, said the company was thrilled to be working on such an important project.
He declared: “Event management is a big part of what we do here at Champions and we’re always looking to support wonderful causes wherever possible. These awards align with our own values and we’re delighted to be working with the team in Wales this year.”
Blanche Sainsbury, founder of the National Children of Wales Awards, said: “For the event to be a success, it is critical we work with the right partners and, as such, we are delighted to have identified Champions as the perfect complement to the rest of our team to help us deliver a truly spectacular evening on 3rd April.”
The agency also organises a number of high-profile golf tournaments including the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship and official Staysure Tour events the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship and the Farmfoods European Senior Masters.
