Bondholders triumph at Mainframe Awards
Several Marketing Derby Bondholders have triumphed in the annual Mainframe Awards.
Staged online, the awards were organised by Mainframe, an initiative based at QUAD that aims to bring together a community of digital and creative businesses across Derby and Derbyshire.
Hosted live by Adam Buss, chief executive of QUAD, along with the Mainframe team, which consists of Charlene Sharp and Hana York, the awards celebrated talented digital and creative businesses and individuals.
Keith Cox, from Bloc Digital, won the Putting Derby/Derbyshire on the Map category – and was presented with the award by Marketing Derby's Simon Kirk, who was one of the judges.
Keith, alongside Joe Brammer, from Bulkhead Interactive, was also a runner-up in the Best Digital or Creative Upscaler category, which was won by fellow Bondholders Liam Nelson/Rob Twells, from Frogspark.
Joe was also a finalist in the Digital/Creative Ambassador of the Year category, which was won by John Whall, from QUAD.
Grace Osbourne, from Déda, won the Family Participation award. Fellow Bondholder Katie Lavis, from Little Starts Gift Cards, who is Marketing Derby’s Rising Star for this year, was a finalist in this category.
The awards also recognised emerging talent and in the Emerging Digital/Creative Star category, which is for individuals aged under 25, all three finalists were Marketing Derby Bondholders.
Jessica Frearson, from Future Proof Films, came out on top, while Jack Griffiths from Derby County Community Trust, occupied the runner-up spot.
And in the Best Digital/Creative Start Up category, AV IT Media, which was founded by Mark Averill and Ash Stanley, was named a runner-up.
