Lean on-line launched
A new online training offer has recently been launched by Bondholder Toyota UK’s Lean Management Centre (TLMC).
Guided by the Toyota Production System and the Toyota Way, the Toyota Lean Management Centre has been supporting organisations who want to develop people and processes since 2009. It consists of an experienced team of Toyota employees, drawn from a wide range of disciplines, experienced in providing lean training to a broad spectrum of organisations.
In parallel, a new website and online sales platform were developed and the team now have the capacity to train up to 360 people per week. Drawing on over 120 years of combined experience the group offers live training sessions limited to 18 participants in each, providing clients with the opportunity to challenge and quiz the coaches who lead the courses.
The coaches are passionate about the subject material and offer many examples from their Toyota careers when explaining each topic. A recent participant commented: “I just wanted to thank you and the team and let you know how useful I found the PPS (Practical Problem Solving) workshop. It honestly was one of the best courses I've been on in a long time.”
Not only do the team offer shop-floor guidance and advice, they are also capable of delivering value stream mapping and lean for office environment courses.
The Toyota Lean Management Centre is based at Toyota’s world-class engine manufacturing facility in Deeside and offer training and coaching to business managers and those responsible for business transformation. Clients have included a diverse range of sectors including pharmaceutical, retail, insurance and education.
