“The award raises awareness of urgent issues that we are facing globally while supporting photographers to be recognised, it also demonstrates our commitment to innovation and entrepreneurial collaboration across sectors”
— Louise Clements, Artistic Director at QUAD & FORMAT

The competition is open to everyone and features a grand prize of £2,000 for the winner with £500 for two runners up. The theme is 'Unforgettable' and entries must be submitted by 5pm on 31st January 2016.

Louise Clements, Artistic Director at QUAD & FORMAT, said: “We are very proud to be partnering with a leading cybersecurity company such as PixelPin who are innovating on the frontline of internet security through the use of images in place of passwords. The award raises awareness of urgent issues that we are facing globally while supporting photographers to be recognised, it also demonstrates our commitment to innovation and entrepreneurial collaboration across sectors.”

Juhi Gore from PixelPin commented: “PixelPin are excited to partner with FORMAT and QUAD to recognise high quality international photographers and to source three new high-security photographs for the PixelPin Gallery. The biggest single security threat for 2016 remains the password.”

Judges for the competition include Louise Clements (Artistic Director of QUAD & FORMAT), Will Pryke (Head of BT Infinity Lab), Juhi Gore (PixelPin Founding Team) and Bridget Coaker (Picture editor for the Guardian/Observer).
