Hat Trick for HUUB
Wetsuit maker and Bondholder HUUB has scooped a hat trick of prestigious business awards at the East Midlands Chamber's 2015 Derbyshire Business Awards.
The event's dinner, which was held at the Roundhouse, gave the coveted title Business of the Year to HUUB, along with the Small Business of the Year award.
Company founder and CEO, Dean Jackson, was also named Entrepreneur of the Year.

“When I travel the world, people say ‘Huub Design, where are you from?’ and I say Derby. They say ‘where’s that?’ and you have to say ‘near Nottingham’. But recently, there’s an encyclopaedia of triathlon come out. It states that the wetsuit experts are in Derby – it’s neoprene, it’s aero-engines, it’s motor industry… We are a very unique city and I cannot tell you how proud I am to live here and work here”
The firm was launched four years ago and has developed a multi-award-winning range of triathlon clothing, wetsuits and endurance sport accessories which are worn by some of the world's top athletes, including the Olympic medal-winning Brownlee brothers.
HUUB's products are sold in more than 17 countries and 300 retail outlets worldwide and it counts TV chef Gordon Ramsay and Formula One ace Jenson Button amongst its celebrity clients.
