“We have been flat out welcoming bookings for Turtle Bay over the first weekend of opening. We have had a fantastic response from the people of Derby who are obviously keen to find out about our Caribbean food offer”
— Dennis Janisse, Area Manager at Turtle Bay

The company has invested more than £800,000 in the new 4,000 sq ft site in Wardwick, creating a perfect destination for 'liming' which refers to hanging out with friends and family enjoying great food and drink.

Ajith Jaya-Wickrema, the founder of Turtle Bay, said he chose this location due to the vibrancy and booming leisure culture in Derby. Turtle Bay will further strengthen the vibrancy of the Cathedral Quarter by offering new international cuisines.
