Assuming the new name on May 1st last year following a £390 million acquisition, Bondholder intu Derby has made leaps and bounds in its effort to extend the centre's already impressive track record.

“Not only have we completed a physical refresh of the centre, bringing our own branding and flavour to all aspects of the centre, but we’ve been investing time, money and energy to improve the retailer and shopper experience including the recent launch of free wifi through the centre”
— Dan Murphy, General Manager at intu Derby

Two new top brands, Italian eatery Zizzi and footwear specialist Office will be moving into the centre this summer. Zizzi joins Joe's Kitchen and Byron Hamburgers to form a new restaurant area adjacent to the foodcourt.

It's hard to believe it's been only a year since intu acquired Westfield Derby with a strong year of new store openings including: HMV, Ann Summers, Hotter Shoes, The Music Store, Smiggle, Tiger, Centros Unico and Liberties Ice Cream as well as PureGym in the centre.

“It’s hopefully all evidence that proves intu is in it for the long term in Derby and I’m personally very much looking forward to many more years of playing a vital role in this fast-evolving city”
