Bombardier Celebrates Awards Hat-Trick

Bondholder Bombardier is celebrating after playing a key role in three successes at the Rail Business Awards in London.

An award for 'Technological Innovation' recognised Bombardier's work on Train Zero - a joint project with engineering consultancy Frazer-Nash. The Train Zero system allows the company to test and refine new rolling stock much earlier in the design process.

Also being mentioned in the Rolling Stock Excellence Award Bombardier was recognised for its successful upgrade of the London Underground.

Finally, Lewis Slack, fabrication shop team leader at Bombardier's BTRoS subsidiary, won the Rail Engineer of the Future Award.
