Major Funding Boost for £400m Peak District Resort

The £400 million Peak Resort near Chesterfield has received a significant funding boost from UK and US investors to create a “world-class” leisure development.

Creating 1,300 full-time jobs, the all-weather sport, health and education development features an 18-hole golf course and will include 600 holiday apartments, hotel, hostel units and 250 woodland lodges.

Construction is planned to roll out over three-and-a-half years.
