Cathedral Quarter Launches Prospectus
Bondholder Derby Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District has launched its new high-quality prospectus which showcases strengths of the area, investment opportunities and details of developments.
The Cathedral Quarter is renowned for its historic setting, vibrant atmosphere and high-quality products. Already home to over 450 independent and national businesses, the new prospectus provides and overview of office and retail accommodation in the area.
The largest sector in the Cathedral Quarter is professional services which makes up 37% of businesses. And, with 550,000 square feet of commercial office space available – including serviced office space via the Connect Derby scheme – there's plenty of room for more.
The second largest sector is retail, with top-notch retailers and the area boasting the highest density of premium brands in the city.
Martin Langsdale, a chartered surveyor and chair of the Cathedral Quarter Board, said: “We have seen a resurgence in both independent and national retailers looking to relocate or expand… The Cathedral Quarter is an address which carries a kudos and value.”
Darren Severn from FHP Property Consultants explained: “The Cathedral Quarter is becoming increasingly popular and offers a very unique setting. It draws both high-end independent and national retailers as well as an excellent mixture of new bars and restaurants.”
