£1m restaurant opens at residential scheme
A luxury £1 million restaurant has opened for business at a new residential scheme in Derby.
The Pepperpot restaurant, located within Wavensmere Homes’ £175 million Nightingale Quarter scheme recently opened its doors to the public.
Operated by The Fulton Partnership, the venue occupies one of two restored Victorian ‘pepper pot’ buildings, which originate from the Florence Nightingale-designed former Derbyshire Royal Infirmary.
Wavensmere Homes and The Fulton Partnership have collectively invested more than £1m in the project.
Wavensmere began work on the Nightingale Quarter scheme in late 2019.
The 18.5-acre site is one of the UK’s most significant city centre regeneration projects.
During the past four years, 95% of the 925 homes have already been matched with buyers, with construction work ongoing for the final phases.
