Embark Federation

Embark Federation is an Education Charitable Trust supporting 2000 children and their families in 7 schools across Derbyshire. Our shared vision is to create schools that ‘stand out’ at the heart of their communities. 

Our core purpose is to develop well rounded children with the skills to make a difference in our ever changing world.

We have designed something called the Embark Award which are 100 activities we would like children to complete before they leave us at 11 around our four core beliefs of Family, Integrity, Teamwork and Success. These help to encourage family learning but sadly some of our children do not get such support at home so we aim to give them these opportunities and experiences at school, particularly for our most disadvantaged children.

We have been following with interest for a while on Twitter and it seems an exciting group to be a part of.
We are interested in linking up with businesses who may provide our schools services and also businesses who would like to sponsor any of our Embark Award events to support disadvantaged children. This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to raise their profile whilst supporting a very worthy cause.
We also educate 2000 pupils who will be the future workforce for the businesses of Derby so we are interested in hearing from anyone who can help us further develop our exciting curriculum.
