Derby City Council

Derby City Council is a key stakeholder and funder of Marketing Derby and has been a Bondholder and member of its Board since the company’s formation.

The two organisations work closely to promote Derby as a city which is open for business and investment, showcasing opportunities to help deliver priorities in the Derby Economic Growth Strategy and city centre Masterplan. Derby City Council has established an Economic Recovery Taskforce in 2020 in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, which Marketing Derby sits on and supports.
