Circulayo was founded in 2021 with the vision to use cutting-edge technology and automation to transform and scale up the reusable packaging market (and the wider circular economy). We recognised that for this to happen, any solution had to fit within the existing consumer lifestyle and be as commercially beneficial for businesses as single-use packaging.

That meant incorporating two crucial elements of the single-use system: the freedom for the consumer to dispose of the item in any bin and the collection of items by the waste management system. The question remained then, how can we use technology to enable this by transforming the waste management system into a circular resource management system?

Derby businesses are starting to integrate more into the community. This form of networking will help businesses in the future to start understanding what the people of Derby want/need as well as businesses exposing themselves to different lifestyles and cultures within Derby.
