Bondholder collaboration brings development into focus

A collaboration between MiniAperture Photography and Wavensmere Homes has yielded some stunning visuals of a new residential scheme, which is taking shape in Derby.

Laura Firth, founder of MiniAperture, was recently invited to the Nightingale Quarter site by Wavensmere, which is the company behind the scheme, to capture some images.

As well as creating almost 800 new homes on the former Derbyshire Royal Infirmary site, Wavensmere is also bringing back into use two historic “pepper pot” buildings.

After touring Pepper Pot South, which is home to the scheme’s marketing suite, Laura was given a full tour of the site.

Using the latest 4K 3D camera, she created 360 degree tours of the renovated pepper pot and the show home.

She then sent up her drone to capture a bird’s eye view of the entire site.

Laura said “Having lived in Derby all my life, I know how significant this site is historically and how much it means to locals like myself.

“It was humbling to step foot into the Pepper Pot South and see the amazing yet sympathetic restoration they’ve achieved.

“It was also a great opportunity while I was on site to take to the sky and capture some fantastic aerial panoramas with my drone.”

Laura Cartwright, marketing manager at Wavensmere Homes, said: “We were only too happy to show fellow Bondholder MiniAperture our Nightingale Quarter site.

“The work that Laura produced for us has blown us away and we look forward to utilising it across our platforms.”
