Software firm to see increased investment after takeover deal

Isys Interactive Systems, which supplies management software solutions for a range of industries, has been sold.

The Access Group has announced it has acquired the Derby firm, whose software supports a range of industries throughout waste management, aggregate and material sales to dairy and food services.

Isys, which also has a base in Horsham, was founded in 1979 with the aim of providing administrative and back-office solutions across.

It recently added web and mobile solutions to its portfolio to support its growing customer base.

As part of the deal, Richard Bowers, managing director, and Chris Kings, sales director, will be staying on at Access as members of the leadership team.

Richard said: “Joining Access gives Isys a new level of expertise in the provision of integrated software solutions, an acceleration of our product development and allows our customers the opportunity to explore an even wider range of business solutions from one provider.”

Chris said: “Becoming part of The Access Group gives Isys many exciting opportunities.

“Our clients will see increased investment and development that will see our products flourish.”

The Access Group is a leading provider of business management software to mid-market organisations.

Isys was advised on the deal by Roger Buckley, a partner at BDO.
