The founder of luxury toiletries business Divine Box is celebrating after scooping a national award.

Danielle Dunn, who launched her business at the peak of the pandemic, recently won gold in the Business Hero category at the National Business Women’s Awards.

She beat of competition from more than 10 other businesses to scoop the top award, which was presented to her at a ceremony at Hilton Wembley.

The Business Hero Award recognises those who have gone above and beyond in the face of adversity, supporting local or national causes.

Divine Box supported the local elderly community by providing soap during the first lockdown.

The firm has also supported Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, which provides vital care and support to families impacted by life-limiting conditions, by donating the proceeds from its rainbow bath bomb.

Danielle also donated a collection of the colourful bath fizzes for use by the children at the hospice and their siblings.

Speaking about her award win, she said: “It was a complete shock to win. I was attending to celebrate being a finalist, not in the hope I may win.”
