Bondholders help keep Olympic dreams alive

A number of Marketing Derby Bondholders have signed up – or renewed their backing – for the Derbyshire Institute of Sport, which supports local Olympic hopefuls.

According to DIS, in the second half of the year, more Bondholders have joined its family of sponsors, while others have committed to increased, or longer term, support.

Among its new backers are Pennine Healthcare and Essential Print Services.

Existing backer Blue Arrow has upgraded its sponsorship package from bronze to sliver, while Wytech, Hodgkinson and Cosy Direct, have also agreed to continue their backing up to the Paris 2024 Olympics.

DIS managing director Chloe Maudsley said: “The support we are getting from Bondholders and other businesses is vital as we continue to work with local athletes who dream of competing at future Olympics in Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028.

“We offer a host of benefits to sponsors, including the chance to join a monthly, online lunch-and-learn with a DIS expert or athlete. All staff members can hop on the call too.

“The monthly talks demonstrate expertise that can be transferred from the sporting world to help businesses and their employees thrive.”
